1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how JessyABC (“we”, “us”, or “Auto-Sync”) collects, uses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the Auto-Sync platform (website, portal, and related services) and the Auto-Sync Chrome extension, which helps sellers fill and publish vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace on behalf of the dealership.

By using the platform or the Auto-Sync extension, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with these practices, do not use our services.

2. Operator and privacy contact

3. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide Auto-Sync and the Auto-Sync extension, including:

• Email address and Auto-Sync portal account credentials.
• Dealership information (name, team settings, invitations).
• Inventory and vehicle listing data (description, price, mileage, VIN, features, publishing status).
• Vehicle photos supplied or synced for listings.
• Facebook user ID (numeric account identifier) and Facebook connection status sent by the Auto-Sync extension to the portal to indicate which account is connected.
• Publishing diagnostics (error codes, form step reached; no seller personal data).
• Publishing job status and logs (success, errors, timestamps, technical identifiers).
• Installed Auto-Sync extension version, for compatibility and support.

4. Auto-Sync extension — Facebook account and credentials

The Auto-Sync extension identifies which Facebook account is connected (account ID only) and sends this connection status to the Auto-Sync portal.

The Auto-Sync extension never reads, stores, or sends your Facebook password or session tokens.

The Auto-Sync extension interacts with Facebook Marketplace only when you use the intended publishing feature, to fill and publish vehicle listings according to your dealership’s instructions.

5. Purposes

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide the Auto-Sync portal.
• Sync inventory, prepare listings, and carry out publications on Facebook Marketplace through the Auto-Sync extension.
• Monitor publishing status, diagnose errors, and provide technical support.
• Improve reliability and security (technical logs, Auto-Sync extension updates).
• Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

6. Limited Use (Chrome Web Store User Data Policy)

Auto-Sync’s use of user data received through the Auto-Sync extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In summary:

Auto-Sync extension user data is used only for the extension’s single purpose: filling and publishing the seller’s vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace, and to provide or improve that functionality when you explicitly request it.

Auto-Sync extension user data is never used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

We do not sell Auto-Sync extension user data.

We do not transfer Auto-Sync extension user data to third parties except (i) to provide or improve the user-requested functionality, (ii) to comply with applicable law, or (iii) as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with appropriate notice where required by law.

No person reads Auto-Sync extension user data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes (including abuse investigations), to comply with law, or when data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

7. Hosting, location, and transfers outside Quebec

Personal information is hosted and processed by cloud providers, including:

Supabase (database and authentication services), hosted on Amazon Web Services in the us-east-1 region (Virginia, United States).

Vercel (web application hosting and related functions), with processing in the United States.

As required by Quebec Law 25, we inform you that your personal information may be communicated to or stored outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. In those jurisdictions, your information may be subject to local laws, including lawful access by government authorities, which may differ from Canadian protections.

We use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards to protect your information during these transfers.

8. Retention

Account and profile data: kept while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days of account closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Publishing logs and related technical data: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated so you are no longer identifiable, unless a longer period is needed to resolve an incident or comply with law.

9. Your rights

Under Law 25, PIPEDA, and applicable law, you may, subject to legal exceptions:

• Request access to personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of personal information where permitted by law.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Auto-Sync, JessyABC, and the Auto-Sync extension are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook. Facebook and Facebook Marketplace are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes may be communicated by email or through the portal when appropriate.
